|What’s Happening at the Eye!
Art Room off Main Art Club and Summer Events
Bring your own chair and learn about a state in Southern Mexico called Oxaca wah-hah-kah. Explore painting a chair using this whimsical style of bright colors and simple patterns. If bright colors and patterns don’t sound like your style, then no worries, students can design chairs of any theme (sports, colleges, music, beach, etc.) Each participant will design a family keepsake chair.
Students will experience the magic of working with stained glass as they transform ordinary objects into exciting treasures. They will be given the opportunity to learn the basics of glass cutting and various mosaic techniques. Projects will vary from mirrors, frames, stepping-stones, candleholders, and more!
