(K-5 th Grade) School-age children will learn basic and advanced art techniques in a series of eight one-hour art classes for grades K-5. We will paint, draw, and work with clay. Smocks and all art materials are provided during classes. We will also work on a group project throughout the eight weeks that will be donated to a community organization. This program culminates in an awards ceremony where each artist will receive a Certificate of Achievement in Art. Parents, family, and friends are encouraged to attend the awards ceremony to support their young artist's accomplishments.
CLASS FEE: $85/8 classes
CLASS LOCATION: Eye of the Eagle Art Center, 131 E. 1st Street, Clayton
CLASS TIME: Each Thursday from 6:15-7:15 PM
COMMUNITY ARTISTS CLASS DATES: 8/26, 9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23, 9/30, 10/7 and 10/14 (final class & ceremony)

Creation Station has provided art enrichment programs for ages 3 to 18 on-site at area preschools, summer camps, & track-out programs since 1997. In addition to art classes & camps, Creation Station is available for special events & private classes for church, civic, & home school groups. Creation Station also hosts art birthday parties throughout Wake & Johnston County.
